Exercise is a necessary evil for everyone.  If you want to stay healthy, you have to keep your body moving.  Though everyone knows that exercise is important, fighting the urge to do something more exciting is quite difficult for most people.  

You may have plenty of desire to exercise, just nothing inspiring that really keeps you going.  Try taking the time to get creative.  Exercise doesn’t have to suck.  Take a minute to check out a few suggestions on how to make your fitness time more enjoyable, and get up off the couch today.  

Escape to the moon for PT

It sounds absolutely absurd, but technology makes the experience possible to some extent.  If you just can’t find any interesting ways to exercise, get an Oculus.  

Oculus provides a virtual reality experience like no other device on the market today, and the exercise programs are insanely cool.  You can choose the moon as your setting for your next workout, and admire craters while you do your squats.  

Get to work on a home improvement project

If you like nesting, working on a home improvement project can really get your body moving.  Even if you are not planning to knock out any walls, there are plenty of other home improvement activities to get your blood flowing.  

Consider reworking the interior design of your chosen domicile.  You might be surprised just how worn out you are by the end of a day’s worth of work, and you’ll have a gorgeous new aesthetic to enjoy tomorrow.  

Do charity work in the community

You could get fit by helping others in the community.  Helping at a local food pantry or soup kitchen will get you up and moving for the day.  

You may also donate your time and skills to working with a Habitat for Humanity build or something similar.  Exercise that nurtures the mind, body, and soul is the best.  

Try engaging in sexercise 

You may have just giggled a bit, but for real, engaging in sexual activity is a really fun way to exercise.  If you are looking for creative ways to burn calories, sex works.  

Of course, be wise about your sexual activity.  A steady partner is probably your best bet in this area, but you don’t have to be in a relationship to enjoy a good sexercise session.  

Start a dog walking business 

You could make money while you exercise too!  Start your own little dog walking business, and getting all of your clients to the restroom each day will give you lots of time on your feet.  Walking is great exercise for the whole body, and it’s not super hard on your joints.
